settling

ok kids we've been home for a while now but we're still getting settled in. Plus Tristen has most of the pictures so things will have to wait until either she sends them to me in a file or posts something herself. Hang in there guys!!!

Ok so Mom and Dad are coming up to Lake Powell today. We're excited to show them the sights and introduce them to the friends that we have made here (that are still here). Tomorrow we will go to church, eat lunch and get the HELL OUT OF HERE!!!! we have tried so hard to wait patiently but it hasnt helped that we've had half days at work and then on our last work day our boss told us not to come in. Tristen has just about everything packed and is going CRAZY that I havent really touched my things. Shes cleaned and watched movies and is now re-reading a book. She doesnt re-read. Poor thing is going nuts. lol Once I get home I'll post in depth details with pictures of our summer adventures.

the count down begins

hey guys! we now have about 2 weeks left here and we're trying so hard not to get antsy. the other day we made a list of all the things that we miss. A shower that you can walk around in and REAL food and just a house that you can walk around in. I miss DVR!!

we are planning to go to Grand Jucntion on Tuesday for last minute needs. Its been more of a hassle than i thought it would be but we WILL go.
The other day I was closing the window in a room when i startled a baby lizard! it was about 4 inches long and very cute. we kept it for a bit then took pics and let it go. lol we'll post pictures later. anyways thats about it in a nut shell. much love to you all!!!1

Pioneer Day

Ok kids here we go:

The 24th of July turned out to be a lot bigger and more stressful than we would have thought. We were booked solid for 4 days stright. We were asked to come in on both of our days off(Sun & Mon) and we said no to both because our bodies needed 2 days to recuperate. On Monday Tristen was able to go to Grand Junction CO. to buy some of the things that we needed. I gave her alot of money for it and the rest was for her b-day. She 21 now! Ya!!! any ways that same day our co-workers Kayla and Taryn quit. We miss them already but thankfully its dead here. We got new workers - two guys from Columbia. Their english isnt very good but the word gets across and the work gets done. Also we have a guy here form Turkey thats been here for about 3 weeks and hes already looking for a job in Florida. He says its just to boring here for him. Im thinking if your gonna get a job in the US get one in a state that you want to be in!
Our friend Brittnay had to run home to vermont for a few days because her mom has cancer and is dying. So she asked us to get her mail and I lent her $50.00 for her flight home. Her mom almost passed away before she got there but is ok now. :$ Anyways thats the latest update from us. LOVE YOU!!!
